many cases, relect the history of the area.
View Road is the
major road in the community and is named for the views it
provides of Setauket Harbor.
Shipyard Lane is named
in recognition of Setauket Harbor as a shipbuilding center in
the 1800's.
Mast Court, similarly,
reflects the maritime heritage of the area.
Vingut Lane is named
after George Vingut who owned the property in the early 1900's.
Barnyard Lane is located
in the vicinity of the barnyard of the Vingut property.
